Mix business with pleasure? Always! This 5000 square foot office in Toronto started as our blank canvas, and we were given carte-blanche to bring it to life. Putting the off-side in office and hot in hot desk, our unconventional approach speaks volumes, even in quiet places, like the coveted secret room for meetings or for simply hanging out. Cheeky innuendos and custom murals meet intelligent design (like the special lighting that lets others know if the rooms are in use.) From open concept, communal workspaces, to smaller offices and private conference rooms, this tech firm not only serves Ontario teachers but positively serves employees and guests thanks to its wonderfully welcoming environment. Of course, no high-tech, high-style place of employment should be without ping-pong tables and moving bookcases, so we checked those off our to-design boxes, too. Enlivening the walls is also custom printed wallpaper, featuring dreamy destinations like Paris and London, and decals with hashtags and inspirational words throughout.
